I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Freehold, NJ) in Jun 2018
Interview
Email invitation to one of their hiring days
About a 30 minute interview on your experiences and skills, you have to pick out an outfit and sell it to them, they show you all the different departments and you get to say which ones you like, then they place you
Immediate offer if they want you
Easy. The questions were straightforward and I was immediately hired afterwards. The overall process was no more than 30 mins. Afterwards, I was given a tour of the floor and then I was sent home to complete some documents and training courses before my start date.
Simple, went on a hiring day and it was pretty easy, lasted about 30 mins and got hired on the spot. Onboarding took longer, like 2 weeks, but other than that it was simpler than other jobs Ive had.
