I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2018
Interview
I received an email from one of the recruiters only a day or two after my application was submitted and was able to schedule a interview right away. At the interview there was a little confusion between the departments, could have been the day or could be the general lack of communication but I was shuffled around for a while before I was shown to where the interview was being held. It was a really fast and easy interview with basic questions that you get asked in any other interview for a similar position. My second round was with another recruiter who went over basic retail sales and then had me run through a couple scenarios.

Question 1
What was one time in your work experience where you had to solve a problem?
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
Was inside Barton creek mall, hiring manager was prompt and clear with questions ranging from how I would handle difficult customers, to my personal experiences that could apply to the job.
