I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Austin, TX) in Aug 2014
Interview
I initially applied online. A few hours later I received an email asking me to set up a phone interview. My phone interview was the next day. They give them selves a 2 hour window to call you. They called me 30 min after the time I had scheduled. Questions were very simple. Why the rack? Things like that. At the end of the call I was asked to set up a 1 on 1 interview. The 1 on 1 was more of the same questions. I met with the manager of that rack location and another sales manager. The next day I received a call asking to meet with the head of my department. She was very nice and informative. Asking about availability and telling me about the salary. A few hours later I was called and offered the job. Very positive experience. I'm so excited!

Applied online. About 2 weeks later received an "online "interview" which was a 3 minute process asking me what time was I available for a in person interview. Received 2 interviews on the day of the interview, with a tutor of the store. About a week later received a job offer. I had no sales experience.
