I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Fresno, CA)
Interview
- Checked email as daily as possible.
- Email had me set up an appointment for a phone interview.
- Chose day and time.
- Waited until that day, lady gave me a call within the hours that I chose.
- Unfortunately, the positions were all filled already so they had my phone interview stored in profile
- A month later, they called back for an in-store interview.
- In-store interview was held in their backroom
- Asked me about 7-10 questions in total
- Told me she'd call by next week, but she never did so I kept calling that same week
- Kept telling me that she would call tomorrow.
- Finally called me back, but she went with a different person.

Question 1
I already knew what questions were going to be asked since I've done so many interviews.
Really long for a retail interview- about an hour and a half. In-depth questions about work experience and my personality and morals. Interviewer was really laid back tho and really chill
I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom (West Hartford, CT) in May 2019
Interview
Basic questions but then you had to do a styling scenario where you pick out a few outfits for the interviewer. They tell you on the spot if you got the job unless you didn’t do a good job they’ll probably say they’ll call you
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Austin, TX) in Sep 2015
Interview
Takes a long time to get hired. Had to go through four interviews to get the job. The questions were thought but they really want to weed out the good sales people from the so-so.
