I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Garden City, NY) in Jan 2014
Interview
I applied online and literally the next day got an email to schedule a phone interview. I scheduled my interview, did absolutely great on it (my opinion lol) and the person on the phone scheduled me an appointment a week later for an in person interview.
I was taken into HR and met with a woman (I cant remember her exact title). We went into a room and I was hiven basic interview questions such as, "When's a time you had to be competitive at work, why Nordstrom? Why cosmetics? Etc." All of them I answered promtly and with details.
She then took me to the sales floor and introduced me to a counter manager for DIOR. The manager acted as a customer and I had to greet her, ask her what it is she was looking for, and make a sale. (It was mock so I didn't actually know anything about the products. Just winged it)
After that my interview was over. The person who interviewed me said I would receive a call in a week span to know if I received the job.
My interview was today so I have a week to see if I was liked

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (The Woodlands, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
Horrible! They only had 4 positions available with 100-250 applicants for each! After I applied they sent me a generic email, stating to come to their job fair! Seriously? Why would they even have a job fair for only 4 positions in the entire store (of which 100's of candidates already applied)!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Richmond, VA) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview process was quite easy, I applied then received a cll back followed by an interview with their HR and then another with the cosmetics floor manager. All interviews were easy and I was offered the job on the spot.
