I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
In the interview they lie to your face and tell you that "most" stylists have a base of 35k (complete lie) and that in your first year "most" stylists make 65k (totally false). In the interview they lie some more and tell you that you will receive leads. If you don't have a network that likes overpriced boring button downs and jeans then this isn't for you. More like 26k your first year IF YOU ARE LUCKY. After all the hours you spend at that office its more like $8/hour.
