I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Oak Brook, IL) in May 2014
Interview
Took me 12 times until I finally got an offer. They're looking for specific answers so get it right. You go through a phone interview first and if they like you they'll ask to meet with you in person. I was told that during that very conversation. Be specific and connect your experience to the position.

- Very easy and straightforward with a wonderful manager, only one interview and then was given offer shortly after which was great given that they wanted summer help. They were really only looking for full time, which I was ok with.
easy! attended the hiring event. You need to advocate and ask to interview for multiple departments in order to increase your chances of getting the job/dept you're looking for. interview process is repetitive but easy.
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
