I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Short Hills, NJ) in Nov 2014
Interview
The process took about two weeks. I applied, had a phone interview the same week, the next day I was asked to come in person after passing the phone screening. The interview was short. It was in a room where a bunch of other interviews were taking place (they hire in bulk at the start of new seasons). She told me about the position. A week later I recieved an offer and accepted

Question 1
The phone interview was basic, it asked about availability & you should be able to answer the "why our company" type of questions.
- Very easy and straightforward with a wonderful manager, only one interview and then was given offer shortly after which was great given that they wanted summer help. They were really only looking for full time, which I was ok with.
easy! attended the hiring event. You need to advocate and ask to interview for multiple departments in order to increase your chances of getting the job/dept you're looking for. interview process is repetitive but easy.
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
