Had two interviews. The first interview I was invited to a hotel where the interviews would take place. I was interviewed by two of the department managers. They were very nice and both interviews were very relaxed. The first manager was more focused on my availability/ personal background. The second manager was more focused on my company knowledge and questions relating to my personal style, and I was also given a task to recommend and sell clothing in front of them. Both interviews went really well for me, however working hours are EXTREMELY important to them so make sure you make them feel like Nordstrom is your #1 priority. I made the mistake of mentioning that I was a full-time student, so when I got the call back I was told that I was a great candidate but unless I increase my availability right away (which I couldn't), I should apply for seasonal instead in the summer. The lady who called me made it seem like I got the seasonal job for sure, so I was disappointed when I called back later to find out that they never pre-hire any seasonal and that the lady who called me must have a misunderstanding and made a mistake.
