Applied online which also consisted of assessment questions. Received email about wk later to respond if interested in setting up phone interview. Received phone call a few days later from human resources. Completed phone interview which consisted of standard questions which included- Why Nordstrom? and How do you feel about commissioned sales?
Asked to come in for one on one interview. HR person read from scripted questions. Included same questions from phone interview : Why Nordstrom?, What would you do if you weren't near your sales goal?
Describe a time you had a difficult customer, how did you deal with them? Describe a situation where you gave great customer service.
Asked to come back to interview with Manager. Mostly same questions from first interview asked.

A few questions with someone then you’ll meet with a manager in a department they think you would good for. The department manager had me pick out an outfit for a pretend customer and describe why I picked certain items

Normal behavioral questions and questions related to retail experience/interest in fashion. Nice interviewer was low pressure experience. Interviewed by department manager. Heard back day of interview and started training very soon after.

Applied online. Got an email about a week later. Went in to a Seasonal Hiring Event. Interviewed with a manager. Most questions were situational questions. Very easy process. Offererred position on the spot.
