I applied online. I interviewed at Nortal (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Dec 2025
Interview
Waste of time, I was interviewed by Nearsure, now they are working together with Nortal. 1-hour phone screening + 40 minutes of a technical conversation with a manager, then they moved me forward and sent a home assessment with unclear requirements. I asked many times for clarification and didn't receive any answer. The next step was going to be an interview with the customer, but I didn't get to this part, so if you want to participate in a process that wastes your time and doesn't give you feedback, I recommend it.

Question 1
How can we improve the performance of a React application?
They reached me on linkedin with a job that had easy requirements for an experienced frontend developer as I am, like, React, Javascript and CSS. I matched ALL skills with at least 2 plus years that their were requiring. I did the english test, everything ok. They called me for the HR interview and I gave them a lot more about my experiences with those skills. Everything was ok, until next day that they just told me: You dont have the skills that the client needs. Even having ALL requireds skills, the budget was already defined and it was good for both. Seems to me that the company is looking to other caractheristics than skills, some other "thing" that they dont tell you.
