I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northeastern University (Boston, MA) in Jan 2014
Interview
The interview was held by Tatayana. I had a wonderful interview experience. I was asked to solve a sum on Molarity which was not very straight forward. I had to think for a while and apply the necessary basics I studied in my under graduation. At the end I cracked the sum and was appreciated for the same. Also we had a general talk about my experience in the field of pharmacy.

Question 1
The sum had a few tricky parts and I was caught up in that for a while but later was able to deduce the answer.

Interview
No interview. Only two recommendation letters required because transfer from another US university. Bureaucracy required personal interaction and multiple phone calls and emails with international student office and assistant in department.

Interview
Fairly quickly, usually candidates are invited to come tour the campus and meet professors before they are committed into a lab. As an international student the office of international students was really helpful in getting travel documents rady

Question 1
WHy do you want to come to NEU and what are your expectations after you graduate with your degree?
Very comfortable yet professional. They seem to care more about whether you fit in rather than how impressive your resume may be. This is a huge green flag. I was also told that although previous experience for certain things was preferred, it is not a deal breaker. Techniques can always be taught.
