Recruiter reached out to me to set up an interview. Asked how much money I wanted, I asked for the salary range for the position and he said there wasn't one (no way that is true). I said I would be negotiable. First round interview with the hiring manager went well. Recruiter again asked how much money I wanted before moving forward. I gave him my salary expectations. Second round interview with someone on the team went well. Didn't hear anything for three or so weeks, then just got a generic automated email rejection. It was clear they just want to lowball/find the cheapest available option they can get. Guess that amazing culture they talk about never made its way down to HR.
