I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northern Trust (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2024
Interview
1 general HR pre-qualification call with very nice recruiter
1 panel style interview with 2 actual team managers to discuss more in detail your technical skills and experience, questions like “how do you manage challenging stakeholders across various projects” “what tools are you familiar with?” “Where do you want to be in 5 years”
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you looking for an internal consulting role?
Not good. Very rushed. The panel interview was OK, but hiring managers seem very busy and preoccupied. They need more attentive people on the panel. Lot of them are clueless about the roles and responsibilities.
Great and comfortable interview with polite interviewer. There are two stages of interview process. Talent and acquisition reaches out to you and provides swift transitions on both stages. Very helpful team.
