I applied online. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
For software engineering. They just asked thorough questions about my resume and coding experience, whether or not I prefer front-end or back-end, and why I want to work for Northrop Grumman. When I said my preferred language is Java, the interviewer asked why. It was a pretty conversational interview, mostly behavioral questions.
There was a short video call with a hiring manager. They were very friendly, mostly walked through your resume, asked you some behavioral based questions, and asked about you (hobbies, school, etc).
Amazing process, smooth and recruiter scheduled them very well. Definitely have your resume known inside and out. The technicals were medium difficulty, Be as well spoken as you can, iterate your points clearly.
