I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Rolling Meadows, IL) in Mar 2018
Interview
Telephone interview followed by in person panel interview. Then recruiter called me to say I was the top candidate a week later and if I was interested. Another week later, recruiter tells me that they offered the job to an internal candidate though I was the better qualified and interviewed better. He also said they prefer hiring within and around 85% of their hires are internal. At which point, I would not recommend applying to this company where the odds are stacked so against you unless you are a recent college graduate.

Question 1
All of the questions were behavioral interview questions. They have a 5-6 page question paper that they are all busily filling out while talking to you.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman
Interview
The interview process was very straightforward. It typically featured a panel interview. who asked pretty thought-provoking questions. However, information about the benefits should have been provided in more detail prior to joining the company.
Average interview process. They use the STAR method, like every other employer, to evaluate questions. There was only two interviews (one with HR and one with the hiring manager). Takes forever to get an interview after you submit a resume, but the time from interview to notification was pretty short.

Question 1
Describe a time where you failed a task and what you learned from it.
First round is a call. They were extremely rude in every correspondence. I had honestly forgotten about it entirely and then I got their terse rejection email. Other employers have found better ways of rejecting people and speaking to them. It felt like they're in a different decade.
