There was a screening interview with two recruiters over the phone and then I moved on to the interview with an agile hiring team manager. This was a little strange since the interviewer was not the actual hiring manager for this position. Since Northrop was hiring so many people during this time, they had a hiring team that handled all of the interviews. Anyways, the interview was one hour and was fairly scripted. The interviewer did not seem to know all of the answers to some of the questions that I had about the position which was a little frustrating but I was able to speak with the actual hiring manager after I was offered the position. I will say, the hiring team that I dealt with was very friendly and the hiring process was fairly transparent.

I was contacted by a recruiter and then I had a 40 minute phone interview. For a major defense company, the offer was embarrassingly low-ball and they didn't want you to start till you are cleared (cost-cutting for them), no Sign-on bonus or relocation was offered. This ranks among the worst offers ever for Electrical Engineers. Good luck finding enough Engineers to pack up and move to Utah.
