I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
I was actually contacted by a recruiter. Spoke on the phone, was asked basic questions like what I studied, what my goals were, etc. Then I went into an in-person interview. I thought the internship was for an analyst type role, but it was actually more of a sales sort of thing which would lead me to a commissioned based salary job.

Question 1
Say you're in a group for a company project and you have one person who is difficult to work with, how would you deal with that person?
It was good, simple, and they provided a lot of information on what the position would look like. They explained the reasoning for commission-based pay, and how they help support new interns with that.
I had an interview with northwestern mutual but im seeing a lot of people say its just a pyramid scheme to cold call people in my network. is this true?
