I applied online and then was later contacted by email. There was a bit of an issue since I was turned down through the system I applied through, but was contacted by a recruiter. Nevertheless the issue was resolved and I was brought in for interviews, which I was told was the first of four or so rounds.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I didn't expect that they'd ask about what I knew about commissions based sales, but the question was more or less obviously
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Greenville, SC)
Interview
Very casual, over the phone, expect to cold call even if they say you won't. Almost zero technical questions and seemed rather rushed. Probably wouldn't advise unless you have no other options.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (West Hartford, CT) in Nov 2024
Interview
First was a phone call interview. Then in person with the cheif recruiter. They had me come in for a third interview to meet two more representiatives and gave me assignements to start building my clients
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Honolulu, HI)
Interview
The initial interview was fine. If you wish to proceed they'll give you an assignment that will take some time to prepare. If they offer you a position you'll find its mostly all networking through your personal connections for sales. Not ideal.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They'll ask about your personal network to get a gauge on how many people in the area you know.
