I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Greensboro, NC) in Nov 2014
Interview
There were three aspects of the interview process. First, I met with a recruiter and had a light, friendly conversation. They do this to see if you are sociable enough to fit the office culture.
When they deem you fit for the next step, you receive a Harrison Assessment. It is a personality/career aspirations test. After, you review your scores with a supervisor to see if your career goals align with the branch.
If the supervisor see fit, you will go into the final road. Here you show your ability to network and create professional contacts. You present on these individuals in a powerpoint style presentation.
It was a quick setup to get the first interview. Then there are two more interviews that took longer to set up and extended the hiring process. They are very nice though.
