I submitted my application and a few days later received an email to schedule a phone interview. I had the phone interview and he asked me about a previous phone interview I had with them about two months ago. It was noted that I never had it although I actually did have that interview and never heard back from anyone on whether or not I was selected. He then goes to tell me about the training program, asks me why I want to be a medical assistant. He states the program requires little to no experience even though I do have a background in healthcare. Interview then ends. Next following day I receive the email that “they are moving forward with other candidates...” Wait what how... a class that selects 8-10 ppl. Makes no sense and with how fast it happened as to not even consider me. Why review my application and have me do a phone interview to not continue in the interview process. Highly disappointed. The hiring process here is not fair.
