Not worth it, do not waste your time applying here! Two rounds of interviews and invited to two events (Pre-Interview Information Evening and Cocktail Evening). While both events were really fun, they say we are very 'supportive and our interviews are very conversational', which is not true at all. Online application 1. Cover letter, online question responses, CV, and cover letter - Unnecessarily long online process with 700-1000 word responses required imposed by the new HR - very ridiculous. 2. First round interview and second round interview - While some interviewers are great, some of the partners are really rude and will ask you crazy situational and behavioural questions and questions like 'What is a commercial case you have been following?' - overly formal and do not really try to get to know you. Some of the partners are also highly condescending and elitist. 3. No buddy or support is provided in the application process, even to those who progress to a 2nd round. Absolutely ridiculous. Most graduates and junior lawyers are also unwilling to answer your questions. Best decision was rejecting them on offer day DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING FOR CLERKSHIPS HERE.. INVEST YOUR TIME IN OTHER INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRMS TO APPLY FOR! While NRF has a great global name, their Australia presence is not very diverse and has a bad rep/bad culture.
