I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Jan 2015
Interview
I gave them my application then followed up with an email. They emailed back and said to come in for an interview (saturday). A few days later (tuesday/wednesday), I got a call and they said they'd like to hire me and I started that monday.
Pretty easy, called and then got interview and then got hired very quickly. Both owners seemed nice and manager was sweet. Not overall difficult interview, more about availability than it was past experience.
There was a phone interview first (not sure if they do this anymore or if it is a zoom one now), then an in person interview followed up if they were interested. It was in their backroom, just one on one with the manager at the time. Sometimes they offer a trial shift to see how you work in the environment and if you pick things up easily.

Interview
First a phone interview, about 5-10 minutes. Very friendly interviewer. Then second, an in person interview, about 10-20 minutes. Simple questions. Quick notice. About maybe ten questions. Ask about availability. Once hired paperwork takes about two hours.
