I had four remote video interviews and one in-person interview. The hiring manager was very nice and personable, and he made it seem like I was a top candidate. I waited weeks for a response after the last interview, and never heard anything. I emailed the recruiter-no answer. I emailed the hiring manager-he told me that the recruiter would be contacting me. The recruiter finally emailed me and said they went with another candidate. It was very rude to take so much of my time and treat me like a top-tier candidate, then ghost me when they decide to go with someone else. It was also cowardly of the hiring manager to pass me back to the recruiter, instead of just responding to my email that they went with someone else. I feel like this is a symptom of the problems that other people have posted about on this site. I regret applying with this company.
