Phone Interview w/ Recruiter. Originally asked me to interview for HR Project Manager, and upon more discussion she realized I was a better fit for the HR Manager role, which was fine since I applied to both. Recruiter contacted me the day prior and schedule time to speak with me, and completely missed the appointment we had set and called 30 minutes late. After a brief apology for the delay in the call, we began to speak more about the actual role. It was then that the recruiter stated she was unable to view my resume due to computer issues, which was apparently the same reason she had called me late. Overall, the recruiter seemed incredibly unprepared for our conversation, lacked in depth knowledge about either role, and had barely reviewed my resume. I didn't anticipate to get any follow up, so I emailed to findout what the status of my application was weeks later. I was informed that the hiring manager chose not to move forward with my candidacy. I thanked the recruiter for her response, and requested any feedback that she could provide that may be useful in my search efforts. I received no further response. All in all, I'm OK with not moving forward in this process, because it was jumbled and confusing at best.
