I had a HR interview first, then I was asked for an interview with hiring manager. After selected, I was asked to virtually talk to a number of team members.

The interview process was very positive, but I was informed by HR that the position was no longer being filled due to business needs, even after my references were contacted. It was disappointing given how far along the process had progressed

The interviewer started the interview by introducing himself and his role in the group, the aim of the project, the structure of the team. The interviewer stated what the steps of the interview will be and what to expect.
