Things were going greatly. Had two panel interviews with senior leadership. First one was straightforward and pleasant, and the second one was great as well but I was baited with a “gotcha” question and decided to answer truthfully. All of my previous quality experience based answers and prior qualifications went out the window instantly, and I was promptly ghosted by the company. Definitely aligns with the employee reviews, as this is just unprofessional and disrespectful. I went from a top candidate who the interviewers were ecstatic to speak to, to being ghosted all because I didn't answer a “gotcha” question as they had intended. Just garbage.
