Had a phone interview and an assessment with a recruiter. I was then asked to come in for an interview. I interviewed with 2 people, one was a supv of the processing dept, and the other was in the employment servicing dept. I received a call a couple of days later indicating that my current skills in processing was not polished enough and I was offered a regular processing position however they needed to perform a background check first. I was excited about the processing position knowing that I had not processed in over 4 years, so I was a bit out of the loop however it wouldn't take more than 1 week for me to come back up to par. I was advs'd that the background would take 1 week. I was called by the employment service lady stating they are still in the process of performing my background but an explanation of a few items on my CBR would be needed. I sent back the required information. I was then called 3 days later by the recruiter asking me to provide check stubs for an employer from 8 years ago. I provided pertinent information to the recruiter for verification. I had not heard back. I became a bit concerned being that the background had concluded. I then emailed the recruiter who called me an hour later asking me to get into the office (I mind you, I lived 1 1/2 hours away) to take another assessment and another interview. I did just that. I was advs'd after the interview that I would hear something the very next day. I didn't. I called and spoke with the employment services lady which she advs'd she would get back with me before the end of day. I still didn't hear anything. I emailed again with no response until 5 days later indicating they were not going to extend an offer to me. No reasons were given as to why. So their culture needs to be "REVAMPED" because they can give a flying cucumber about the way people are treated.
