I rarely post public feedback, but my experience with Nutanix’s recruitment process—specifically with the recruiter —has been deeply disappointing.
After receiving a referral and being invited to interview, The Recruiter confirmed a meeting with the hiring manager and requested that I share the details once scheduled. However, after confirmation, he completely stopped responding—no replies to follow-up emails, no updates, and no explanation. Weeks later, my application was simply updated to “Not Selected” without any communication.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this was the second time I’ve had the same experience with the same recruiter. Being ghosted once could be an oversight; twice, it reflects a clear pattern of disregard for candidates’ time and professionalism.
For a company that promotes innovation and integrity, this kind of treatment is unacceptable and disrespectful, especially toward referred candidates who take the process seriously and prepare extensively. The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic courtesy in communication speaks poorly of the company’s hiring culture and candidate experience.
I hope Nutanix leadership reviews how their recruiting team engages with applicants and implements stronger standards for communication and follow-through.
