The interview process was efficient overall, with timely communication from the recruitment team and clear information shared at each stage.
That said, the overall experience was mixed.
The initial recruiter call started approximately 10 minutes late. While acknowledged, it did not set the strongest first impression.
During the hiring manager interview, I found the tone and style of communication to be somewhat unexpected. Certain remarks, including a comment suggesting that alcohol can play a role in supporting deal-making, felt out of place for a professional interview setting.
As interviews are often a reflection of team culture and working style, this experience led me to reflect on overall fit. While the process itself was smooth, the interview left some questions around alignment with the environment and values I am seeking.
