I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nutanix in Oct 2016
Interview
I was an internal referral so it didn't take very long to get the initial interview. After that, the interview process was quite extensive, as I imagined it would be, since they were really looking for "fit" above pretty much everything else. The entire process did take a while, but once they seemed like they were interested, the interviews went very quickly. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Everyone seems to be on the same page, and the enthusiasm is palpable. They really take there time during the interviews and listen to your answers. I was given good advice prior to the interview - to be well prepared, do some homework on the product, the market, etc.

Question 1
From a sales perspective, they wanted to know where I could have immediate impact.
They seemed to be very big on how I would integrate with the team. Since the team I am joining is fairly small, they wanted to make sure they did an extensive interview process to measure fit with the existing team.
It was a 4 month process with more than 7 rounds - even thought I got the job I would recommend shortening this process. Because it brings a lot of uncertainty
Fast and responsive. I interviewed within a week for the postition and had the offer on the table within 10 days. overall challenging interview tailored to the role. They gave me enough time to ask all questions needed and to make sure i understand the role i was applying for
Multiple rounds of interviews with multiple people sometimes the same sometimes different. The overall process was ok but seemed somewhat unorganized or at the end of the day where they were not paying attention
