I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Nutanix (Detroit, MI) in Feb 2017
Interview
I started the interview process in mid-February 2017. I applied through the main company company website, and was also recommended by an employee.
I talked to six different folks over the course of five weeks. I spoke with the Territory SE Manager, the Account Rep for the territory, the US SE Manager, the Recruiter, a senior SE, and one more I cannot recall. I also had to do a quick WebEx presentation on any topic I wanted utilizing power point.
Every single person I talked to was amazing in their professionalism, and I got the feeling from every one of them that this entire organization is a team. All were very easy to talk to, and were open for any questions I had.
I was told the process was going to move quickly because of the need to get an SE in this territory for the account rep who recently just started. It seemed to go fast at times, then slow down. It really slowed down at the end. Between my last interview and my offer, it was 4ish weeks. I was told that Nutanix was restructuring the sales verticals and territories due to growth, so offer letters were waiting to be signed during this process. I did get an apology from the SE manager and he told me that he knows it is not a good first impression. I definitely do not hold a growing pain like that against them.
It had 4 rounds aptitude two technical interviews and one hr and managerial interview . Aptitude was combination of both technical and logical questions technical one focused on cs fundamentals and technical two focused on core technologies related to their field
Behavioral + Technical Questions.
About 4-5 rounds, final round is with SE leader.
It wasn't too bad, just have to study nutanix bible.
If you don't study then won't be able to recall knowledge about their product.
