I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nutanix (Bengaluru) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied online thru jobvite and the process was smooth . The best thing about nutanix is their HR team is quite responsive and considerable. The interview depends on what location you are interviewing for . If it's local , they would tell you to come down at the sure and its remote then it would be multiple Skype rounds . For me it was remote (Bangalore location).
Got the call for the Hr , and she told me about what they are looking for and what nutanix is all about and the first round was scheduled within the same week .
First round via Skype . Since my bg was mostly VMware the first round circled around that only . The interviewer was fantastic and made me comfortable and the questions were logical but they were deep dive to the VMware topics like the exact purpose of log files and what each log file pertains to . All in all a good experience and a person who knows vcp concepts in depth can clear it . (45 min )
Second round was again via Skype and this was all about networking and storage . This was one level up from the first round so more deep. Dive to the topics of vmware , San , fibre channel , ports etc. (40-50 mins). This was a grilling round and tested my grasp on networking and storage .
Third was a manager round and this was based on managerial topics . However shouldn't be taken lightly.
Comes down to the onsite escalation round. This is where you have to cross the ocean with tsunami in front. They will go deep and focus on the topics you have worked on and will try to test you to see how good your knowledge is when it comes to practical applications . The round was for 30-40 mins and it was tough like really tough. Be sure of yours answers and be confident of what u know .
Then was the director round and next was HR. Offer was released in a week and as I said the best part of nutanix is the hiring Dept . They are really cool folks . Keep up the good work .
