With lot of interest I had applied to Nutanix at the end of January 2018. Very fast, after one, two days of submitting my job application I got contact by phone from HR EMEA Recruiter and started the process. The Interview process went very smooth and from the very beginning everyone was being extremely professional with my application and really focus on making the process smooth with a very friendly and human touch that not many companies have these days. I felt always being treated as an individual and not as “one more”. I had very interesting conversations with the EMEA Recruiter who was very knowledgeable not only on his field but also around the company and the technology. After that initial conversation, I got an interview with the Systems Engineer Hiring Manager who explained me the job, the responsibilities and of course asked several questions about experience, similar roles that I had previously and so on. After that I got into an onsite panel interview with the Team and the Hiring Manager. I have to say that panel interviews can be always frightening but surprisingly it was great, it was something I really enjoyed because I got the opportunity to meet all potential team colleagues, understand better the company vision in terms of the technology, strategy and of course know better the people, their technology background and understand their motivation to be working there. All in all, the panel interview was great and the questions they asked me were just right, appropriate to the role, not a nightmare. Of course preparation is always required. Last but not least I had an onsite last meeting with the Regional Sales Director, and EMEA HR Partner Business Manager and EMEA HR Recruiter to assure I was the right candidate, equally they asked me to share previous experienced situations to match those related to the job I was applying. This last meeting gave me the opportunity to understand from two other business function the long run company vision and objectives. It was an incredible journey, all went in my opinion fast and smooth. Again, everyone was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Everyone asked me very interesting questions and they took the time to know more about me from every side but equally at the same time the process gave me the opportunity to know better the team, the company and assure I was doing the right thing. I absolutely would recommend everyone to give it a try. The team at Nutanix is simple great and outstanding. Very smart people in every business function that are making outstanding achievements.
