I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nutanix (Durham, NC) in Apr 2018
Interview
I got contacted by a recruiter and had a brief 15-20 minute phone call about my experience and the things listed on my resume. The recruiter asked a few basic technical questions in regards to Linux, networking, VMware, and storage. The recruiter also explained the interview process - 2 phone interviews and one on-site.
The next step was a 30 minute technical phone interview with a current SRE. I received feedback and was invited for an on-site interview the following week.
The on-site interview consisted of a 1-hour technical interview with two SREs, a 30 minute interview with a manager, and one more 30 minute interview with a senior manager. I received feedback and the final interview was scheduled for the following week.
The final interview consisted of a 30-45 minute interview with a senior level SRE.
The interview process was very smooth and everyone was very friendly and professional. They were very thorough with their questions and also welcomed any questions that I may have had.
This was the best interview experience that I've had and the recruiter was very responsive throughout the whole process.
