I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nutanix in Feb 2019
Interview
Started with a HR call, some HR calls screen candidates but I'm not sure if this was a screen or not, though they asked some questions relevant to experience and the job.
Initial 45 minute technical call covering Linux, VMware, HyperV.
Onsite 45 minute technical interview with same topics as above, and 45 minute manager interview.
Final technical interview over phone, touching on things not covered in the first two technical interviews supposedly based on my resume. I found some questions here a bit obscure.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical seemed to focus on layer 2 network, VLANs, switch port types, eg, what is a trunk port and what is an access port. VMware networks and NIC configuration. Linux performance troubleshooting.
Manager interview was fairly typical, not much on customer interaction, stuff on learning. What is your technical weakness? After describing an issue, how did you feedback your findings?

Online interview where we were asked questions about our experience using Linux, as well as projects that we had worked on. Additionally we were questioned on which programming languages we were confident in/
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Nutanix in Jun 2022
