Interview
I got a call in some 2-3 days from HR after i applied on line and a skype interview was scheduled. Then the same got postponed twice saying their managers are quite busy. Now this itself tells how unorganized the employer is. But thinking it still as a startup and not able to figure out with the process explains this. Anyways i wasn't frustrated even though i had to adjust my schedule a lot as i got driven by the technology they are currently working on. Infact what i felt at first was that they are breaking the traditional way of dealing with datacenter, but i still have doubts in my mind. Anyways lets get back to the interview. I got a skype call from one of their manager and he asked quite basic questions which i answered quite well. When he asked me about Nutanix and what they do , the understanding i shared to him was quite impressive which he himself admittted. I do admit that 1 easy puzzle just puzzled me and at first look i gave some wrong answer but i did correct myself for which i took lot of time as i wasn't thinking too much about the interview duration. It went on for like an hour and at the end the manager itself started saying that he doesn't have much time as he had to attend some meetings. Now this is quite frustrating because an interviewer has to give proper time to the interviewee and infact should encourage and not the opposite. Anways the interview wasn't difficult at all and i still think they their interview process isn't good at all. Infact another HR calls me after two days and ask on how was the interview as she didn't hear back anything from the interviewer. I still think that the interviewer and HRs didn't have any communication as was just playing with my time.

Interview
There are four technical interviews, with four different people, all are passed fine, every one of those consists of two parts, one is programming task in pseudo-code and another is a real assignment in that filed.
And also, the first interview was with a Talent Advisor, and it was really great way to hear from him about that position, technologies they are using for and all other things.

Interview
This was a Hard Interview. Was asked questions on data structure implementation and algorithms. No questions related to domain or past QA experience were asked, to start off with. No information was provided by interviewer on what the role/product this is for. Just jumped straight into a coding question.
Very Bad interview process. QA interviewers dont know much about automation at Nutanix India. So, they expect you to code in their way of thinking, we cant code in our style, if we do, we are rejected . For eg: a interviewer didn't know negative index exists in Python, when i used it in my code, he kept on saying its not correct.
Interview questions are not generic, they ask questions for which they know the answer, and not what is written in resume.
Interviewers are very arrogant, they criticize other products during interview. Infact, they criticized the product I am working on , saying its not so famous and other things on features.
Interviewers think nutanix is the best in industry without knowing that there are other companies which are doing better than them. Interviewers please open your eyes and look out, don't be a frog in the well
