I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nutanix (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Interview process was very streamlined and fast. Dropped my resume at the career fair. Got a call for phone screening within a week. After this I was called for onsite round of interviews to San Jose. In onsite there were 5-6 rounds(45 mins approx) with members from different teams. All the rounds were a two way interaction and mostly discussion on how to reach an optimal/efficient solution. The interviewers were knowledgable and helped by giving hints as to how to approach the problem.

In total I had 4 interview rounds, which are described as follows.
Round 1: Screening- Two coding questions, one easy and another medium to hard level coding question, both of which I solved. Basic questions on Python and Kubernetes.
Round 2: Technical (Face-to-face)-2 to 3 Coding questions of medium level. Scenario based questions according to profile. It went on for another hour.
Round 3: Technical(Face-to-Face)- Real life based problems asked including some questions on Algorithms.
Round 4: Behavioral(Face-to-Face) It went on for 2 hrs. Questions mostly on previously done work and revolve around how much understanding and experience you had in past.
All the interviewers were friendly and welcoming. I instantly loved the culture when I walked into their office. It was my dream company and I got selected :)
