Interview
This was an on-campus process. There was a PPT conducted by the company in the morning. Then an online test was conducted in the afternoon, which included MCQs on aptitude, OS, networking, cloud computing, OOPS, guess the output and general programming.
After the test, the shortlist was shared within 2-3 hrs. They conducted the first round of interviews for some candidates on the same day and remaining the next day (2 technical and 1 HR round). Shortlisted candidates from 1st round of interviews were informed on the spot and their next round took place the next day. HR round also took place on the second day for all the students who qualified both the technical rounds.
First round: OA (core CS concepts: OS, Computer Networks and Aptitude)

Question 1
Explain the CPU scheduling algorithms and the important parameters to decide the most efficient algorithms
They wanted in-depth theory knowledge on virtualization concepts, Linux Commands, Operating System Concepts, Networking Concepts, etc. since their role also aligned with that. SREs will be in constant touch with clients troubleshooting issues, which require these theory fundamentals right.

They asked about OS (Zombie/orphan processes), Networks (VLAN), virtualization concepts, linux commands, etc
Firstly, there was a test conducted on Hackerrank for all the applicants, which consisted of questions from Computer Networks, Operating System, and some aptitude questions and around 50 of us were shortlisted for the interview round.
In the interview, I was asked in-depth questions about CN, OS and Cloud. Also, there was a thorough review of my resume and my projects that I had mentioned in there
