At the end of my initial HR screener call, I learned that the position that was listed for $179,000 only paid $140,000 maximum. I asked the recruiter why this job was posted with an incorrect salary range and was not given a coherent answer. Upon reviewing other job postings by this company, it seems to be a common trend to post fake salaries in hopes that candidates will lower their expectations...avoid at all costs!
