There are a total of three interviews. After applying through ziprecruiter, I received a call the following day that consisted of a 20 minute phone interview. I was asked to go over my education and employment history. I was asked a few questions regarding how I would handle large caseloads and irrate clients. Then, we scheduled a second interview with the legal assistant and the supervisor. Basically the same questions were asked and we went over the same information. Finally, a third interview was scheduled with the two partners of the firm (one partner who is based in CA was video conferenced in). They asked me to discuss my resume, organizational skills, what would I do in a situation where I thought a client was lying, how I would handle an irate client, etc. I was told I would hear by the end of the week. I sent an email the following day to the partners thanking them and reiterating my interest in the position and firm. I never received a response. I called about a week later to inquire and was told I would get a call back. Never received a call back. The overall interview process was quick and efficient. It was fairly easy. I think it was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful that they never followed up. At the very least send a rejection email. I expected more from a professional law firm. Looks like I dodged a bullet with this firm.
