This interview was pre-COVID but I wanted to share my thoughts. The company had multiple steps to the interview process. It was very redundant meeting with some of the same people over and over again and being asked similar questions. The former CFO was in one of the meetings and was just rude/checked out. Would zone out of the talk and then just ask a question. It felt like they were trying to "trip" me up and kept dragging the process along. Every interview was smack dab in the middle of the day, which obviously isn't convenient. By the end I had two offers and advised them that I needed an answer (after 3 interviews). The recruiter got back to me past my deadline, only to say they needed the other candidate to have their 3rd interview before making a decision. When they missed the deadline I had provided, I accepted the other role. I advised them when she got back to me and heard nothing back. No acknowledgement of the time we spent, no thank you for interviewing. Complete silence. This company is self centered and thinks they are the next tech company on the block. Good candidates don't wait for weeks on end. I know I dodged a bullet with them.
