I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OC&C Strategy Consultants in Dec 2020
Interview
Assessment stage:
- 30-minute online test: numerical skills, interpreting data, error spotting. Do the practice test in advance, and practice with GMAT type of questions.
- Coding test: data cleaning and exploration (e.g. pandas) and data modelling (linear regressions). You can do it in Python or R.
First Interview:
Two 30-min interviews with members of the Analytics team.
- One interview had questions regarding the coding test
- The other was a case study: grocery chain with increasing COGS that wants to secure margins by raising the price. How to model the price elasticity based on historical data, questions regarding repetitive variables (highly correlated, eliminate from the model)
