The initial interview was roughly 40mins and it went well. The HR manager asked questions in regards to my experience and gave details about the position. I had all of the qualifications for the position. She stated that I would be a great fit for the position and that she would be in touch with me in a few days and to keep her updated if I received another job opportunity prior to her reaching out to me in regards to the second interview. Once the interview ended and we got off the zoom call, I checked my emails and noticed she had sent a rejection email during our interview. I emailed her and ask was this in error and she never responded. I thought this was very unprofessional and unethical, it was a very bad representation of the company. You should never mislead a person in thinking they were going to the second phase of the interview and then send a rejection letter during there interview.
