I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Ocado Group (Hatfield, East of England, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
First stage, Skype interview with two seniors, then 1:1 with the head of Business Planning.
The interview had pretty standard questions (behavioural) and then a big chunk of the time was spent on technical questions.
On the first interview, the technical questions were brain teasers involving probability and math. The interviewers were very good and allowed you to demonstrate how you think.
On the second stage interview (1:1), I feel that the technical questions were a little too ridiculous (the polar bear problem) and the interviewer was not open to let you construct your thought and demonstrate how you think (which is the point of those questions anyway). It was more like: 'I am looking for this answer and you have to reach it this way'. Any hints he gave, simply only pertained to his way of thinking. On his feedback he stated that I was lacking analytical skills, obviously a contradicting statement to what the first two interviewers thought.

Question 1
Someone walks south for one kilometer, then west for one kilometer, then north for one kilometer and ends up at the same point from which they started. Which point did they start from?
