telephonic two round then Web ex interview or Face to face at Chandigarh location. It's basically related to your mechanics basics and past projects done. For an analyst Finite element , Strength of Materials also M.Tech project, and machine design are the area which can be prepared before facing the interview.
Also tool test for ANSYS APDL/Workbench could be a part of interview process.

Interview
I had two rounds of interview. First round was with the manager - engineering analyst team. It was purely technical and related to the projects one has worked prior. Second round was more of a personal interview by recruitment and senior engineering managers. HR was in touch throughout the process.

All the questions were pertaining to things mentioned in the Resume. They look for the clarity in your thought process and how well you can present yourself and your knowledge.
Since I had a background of offshore structural engineering and wave hydrodynamics. Questions were majorly from these areas.
They touched upon the B-tech projects if they feel it is significant.

It was more technical and resume focussed. Basic conceptual knowledge was measured from the diverse questions set by panel. Questions from solid and fluid mechanics are very much focussed. The team requires long term employees, so hr focussed mainly on these aspects.
