The interview began with an interview with the team lead who talked through the company and the role you applied for in some great details. Following that, an informal and back-and-forth discussion about yourself as well. Following this a take home task which closely aligns with the work Octopus does, it has a 4 hour time limit and offers lots of places to demonstrate your skills with clear instructions. Finally an on-site/virtual interview with some of the team members to discuss your solution and discuss your experience of different technologies and grasp the level of your depth. This is not done in an intense interrogation, again this is a very open chat with not only chances for you to demonstrate knowledge, but also chances to ask questions and learn a lot.
