I thought the hiring process at Octopus Energy was great. Even though I haven’t started yet, I feel like I’ve been able to get to know some of the team, who are all so friendly. Aasimah was so helpful throughout the whole process. She was a joy to talk to and really helped me prepare for the assessment centre and online tests :) However, the interview process was pretty long; it took over a month from my first Skype interview to being offered the job and I always heard back from them later than they said. After the assessment centre I was told it would be a week until I heard back, then 2 weeks.. and it ended up being 2 1/2 weeks which is really long to wait, especially when you’re not expecting it. But Aasimah always kept me in the loop and that really helped!
