I was initially contacted by Mollie from Instant Impact after I applied for this role on Indeed. After a brief chat, we scheduled a video interview, which was followed by some aptitude tests (verbal and numerical reasoning). Mollie was really friendly during the interview, and gave me helpful feedback afterwards, and was so helpful for the rest of the process. After I had passed the aptitude tests, she invited me to a Discovery Day with Octopus Energy (which was all done via Zoom because of Covid). This involved a few group activities, a Q&A and a one-on-one interview. Everyone was really friendly on the Discovery Day, and there were several Octopus team members present at all stages, which gave everyone plenty of chances to talk to people that already worked there. I felt like I was prepared for everything in advance because of Mollie's support, and it all went really well. The next day I had a brief video chat with two other team members, and was offered the role. The interview process was quite long, but it was also really friendly and accessible, and gave me a good idea of what the company atmosphere would be like.
