Mollie at Instant Impact was an absolute ray of sunshine and such a supportive, kind person throughout who really made the whole experience so much more enjoyable as she made sure I was prepared at every stage. 1) Initial phone screening 2) Skype interview 3) Numerical and Verbal Reasoning tests 4) Discovery Day 5) Final interview It is quite a lengthy process but really gives you a great insight into how the company works, it's culture, progression and overall company mission. The management and employees I (virtually!) met from Octopus on the way were so enthusiastic, passionate, friendly and positive and not only did it make the whole process so much easier but it made me even more excited to hopefully become a part of the company! A few tips if I can help at all: make sure you revise for the numerical and verbal reasoning tests, especially if you are like me and haven't really visited Maths since GCSEs! There are loads of practise papers you can do online so just try and do as many as you can. If you get through to the Discover Day, make sure you know your stuff about the company. Don't just look at their website but have a look at their socials, listen to their podcasts and read a lot of their reviews online - this will really make the process so much easier. Also make sure you have a few questions prepared for the Q&A panel and during the day, just be yourself! They're looking for people who have done their research on the company but are also looking to see if you would be a good fit for them. As long as you are a positive, hardworking person with great listening skills and the passion for customer service then you will be more than fine! But once again, I wouldn't have made it this far without the support and guidance of Mollie from Instant Impact. A true credit to the company - she was amazing!
